The exhibition “Gregory Crewdson: Eveningside,” curated by Jean-Charles Vergne, showcases three series of the photographer's work from 2012 to 2022, offering a fresh perspective on his decade of creation. Staged with cinematic techniques, the trilogy reveals a twilight world inspired by collective memory and American literary culture.
The final part of the trilogy, Eveningside, contrasts with the solitary forests of Cathedral of the Pines and the post-industrial scenes of An Eclipse of Moths, focusing on isolated figures in daily life with a noir atmosphere. The exhibition spans four spaces, featuring works grouped by themes and arranged on the walls and partitions.
